The history of Sörmlandsgården

In 1920, the city of Eskilstuna received a gift from the farmer Erik J Andersson (1855-1921) in Gultbrunn. The gift was a collection of antiques and everyday objects from the countryside. To be able to display the objects, a museum and a number of buildings from the countryside were needed
