Hiking
The 'Blue Mountain Lake Trail' is a circular hike of approximately 9.5 km in the 'Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area' east of the 'Delaware River' in New Jersey. From the parking lot south of the lake there are several forest paths or paths north past 'Blue Mountain Lake' to Hemlok Pond and back again. The origin of the hiking trails is a former road network for a planned housing development that was never realized.
