Baoguo Temple is located where the Lanlu River flows into (or out of?) the Dianshan Lake. It was built during the Ming Dynasty and repeatedly damaged and rebuilt.

Baoguo Temple is located on the site of the older Guanwang Temple, where the Lanlugang River (拦路港）meets Dianshan Lake (淀山湖). It was originally built during the Ming Dynasty, but repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt.
