The White Sand Dunes is a bigger area with white sand and sparse vegetation that creates the impression of being in a little dessert. The dunes offer good views of the landscape and create a nice contrast to the surrounding (admission 15k VND for adults and 7k VND for children).
Close to the several entrance points are a few restaurants offering numerous services as rides with 4WD cars and quads, or even on camels or ostriches.
As most visitors choose the motorised options, the constant howling of engines can become quite a nuisance when walking the area.
