One of the highest waterfalls in South Tyrol with a height of over 80 m. A very nice and rewarding sight.

The 82 m high waterfall is fed by the Mölten stream. The stream plunges down into the Etsch valley over a cliff made of shimmering red porphyry rock. Below it, the water collects in a small basin before making its way through the stream bed through Vilpian to the Etsch.
The waterfall is accessible all year round and can be reached on foot from the Vilpian village center in about 10 minutes.
