Hiking
The lighthouse was installed in 1958 and made the building a prominent landmark along the coast.
Since 1980, a lifeguard station has also been located on the roof.
The reading room's original function—free newspapers, magazines, and even movies—ended in 2006. Today, the building houses the Leuchtfeuer restaurant.
