The old wine-growing town with its vineyards, their cellars/businesses and the restaurants are a great place to linger. Be it by train or boat, the place is well served by public transport. Of course, the same applies to hikers and cyclists. The main traffic is routed through the tunnel of the same name as a bypass through the mountain. So you have to consciously leave the main axis for this visited place.

The offer is almost endless. If you can get something out of the pilgrimage route, this is the right place for you (intermediate stop). If you prefer to go up to the top, this isn't an obstacle either; sporty types can conquer the steep paths on foot, while everyone else can be chauffeured up to Prêles with the funicular via Festi.
