The church and hermitage of Santa Maria in Arce stand outside the Castle of Rocca Sant'Angelo, also known as Rocchicciola. It is one of the oldest Franciscan convents. The exterior is sober in sandstone, inside there are interesting frescoes dating from the 14th to the 16th century.
