The Monument to the Blessed Virgin is a moving work located in the Parque del Oeste in Madrid, Spain. Its origin dates back to 1975, when the secular association National Prayer Campaign: National Invocation to the Blessed Virgin began to raise funds for its construction. The Cádiz sculptor Juan Luis Vassallo Parodi initially designed the work, but after his death in 1986, the Segovian sculptor Prudencia Sanz completed the project.
