The post and telegraph office is a magnificent building designed in the historicist style. The facade has echoes of the Bad Ischl Kurhaus, which was built twenty years earlier and can also be classified as historicist. It was built by a Viennese construction company and the post office began operations in 1895. Previously, the postal administration was rented in part of the Hotel Post building.
