The Wild Horse Trail is a popular trail close to the Salt River in Tonto National Forest. The trail has open desert views basically the entire time and connects to a bunch of other trails in the area. This is a great trail to utilize for making loops since there are a few different parking areas you can use to access the trail.

THe WIld Horse Trail is popular with hikers and bikers so keep an eye out if you are riding it downhill. If climbing you'll find it to be easy to moderate and on the downhill there are a few jumps to make it interesting. The entire trail is pure desert gold with great scenery and towering Saguaro.
