Wingaersheek Beach is a popular beach with soft white sand, rocky tidepools, lighthouse views, and (generally) calm water. There are lifeguards on duty in the summer, and there are food stands, changing rooms, and restrooms near the parking area. From the beach you get great views to the northeast across the water of the Annisquam Harbor Light Station, and north of the Atlantic Ocean. Although there is a large parking lot (with a fee), it fills up quickly so be sure to get there early or carpool!
