Yangcheng Lake is famous for its Hairy Crab (=Chinese Mitten Crab) and there are shops and stalls all around the lake that offer them - and you can choose to take them with you, have them shipped, or go straight to one of the many restaurants.

This location is probably one of the largest market/restaurant areas around the lake, and during crab season the flashing lights and people crowds make this an interesting experience.

Crab season is only October and November, when the crabs get to maturity and start migrating from their fresh water habitat to the ocean.

This location is the larger, more impressive market and restaurant. About 200m up the road there is another location with a long row of single stores buildings selling and shipping crabs.
