The Humble Administrator's Garden (拙政园) is the largest and most famous classical garden in Suzhou, and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Created in 1509 during the Ming Dynasty, this garden is a masterpiece of landscape architecture. Wander along winding paths, across graceful bridges, past lotus ponds, and through pavilions that blend seamlessly with nature.
The garden is divided into three sections—east, middle, and west—each with its own distinct character. The central pond, surrounded by bamboo and flowering plants, forms the heart of the garden. The atmosphere is serene and meditative, perfect for a rest along your route.
