This spot is ideal for those either going to see an incredible sunrise or sunset. The views from this secluded summit are excellent. You can see downtown Bend to the north, the Cascades to the east and Newbury Caldera to the south.

Climbing just under 500 feet in a little more than half a mile, this 14% grade hill is a less crowded, steeper place to run hill repeats than the more popular Pilot Butte in Bend. You'll enjoy 360 degrees of the mountains from the summit too!
