These two piers (not sure the entrance to what) are Grade II listed and have been dated to the early 18th century.

Just to the north of these, a couple of steps really, as you emerge from Bank Wood, you will get fantastic views over the village of Welburn in the valley. On a good, clear day, you will be able to spot Castle Howard in the distance.
