A terrible train station!
Barrier-free on one side with a ramp and a one-way street on the other end.

A lot has changed in the meantime, the renovation of the station has been completed.
- Barrier-free access to the station from both sides (from the city center via ramp, from the engine shed via elevator).
- Each platform can be reached by stairs and elevator.
- Island building completely renovated (now with tourist information, museum "Bahnhof Bebra: Hub in the Empire - border station in the Cold War", urban development SEB, office complex).
- New waiting room in the north end of the island building.
