On an area of around 465 m², the museum shows a collection of around 1,000 pieces of bells, jingles and bells from different centuries and materials. A special highlight is the oldest surviving “sugar loaf bell” in Westphalia from the 12th century. But the four beehive bells from the collegiate church in Vreden also delight visitors. 1,100 years after their destruction, they were painstakingly reconstructed by experts. Not only bells are shown, but also historical documents, photos and films.
