Col d’Erroymendi

It is an intermediate col that is overcome on the northern slope of the port of Larrau. The views from this point are beautiful.
When this point is reached, there are still 4 km left until reaching the top of the Larrau pass, of which 2 km are rest.
The most significant thing about the Col d'Erroymendi is the long straight line of almost 1 km at 13% until it reaches its summit. It is really hard and I have always suffered a lot there.

Some 4 km before Puerto Larrau, after climbing 8 km from Larrau village, you will teach an intermediate college, and would wish this was Puerto Larrau already. But that is a delusion : 2 km of descent and false glat and then 2 km of steep climbing along hairpins are still ahead. Meanwhile, enjoy the wild horses grazing.
