Zellingen and Retzbach nestle romantically on the right and left banks of the Main, downstream from Würzburg. The two districts are connected by the Old Main Bridge, a pedestrian and cycle bridge. The market town of Zellingen is known above all for the district of Retzbach with its pilgrimage church "Maria im Grünen Tal" and the "Retzbacher Beneditktusberg" vineyard. Active people and those looking for relaxation will get their money's worth here. A large number of well-signposted hiking, cycling and running trails open up the idyllic Main valley and its romantic side valleys. The central location of our community also offers the best starting points for cycling tours, hikes and excursions in the surrounding area.

The Chapel of St. George is very beautiful. And so is the beer garden down by the Main next to the bridge.
