    The church of Saint-Martin in Billancelles went through several phases of construction beginning in the 16th century.

    Construction was completed after some alterations were made in the 19th century.

    The nave is the oldest part.

    The portal is from the Renaissance, while the framework in the form of an upturned boat hull dates from 1578.

    The church was surrounded by the cemetery which also occupied the location of the current parking lot.

    The lack of space led, in the middle of the last century, to the creation, a few dozen meters away, of the current cemetery where the graves were moved.

    Restoration work took place in 2002.

    They concerned the roof and the bell tower which was topped with a superb weather vane.
