It seems that the structural work of the Landelles church dates from the 12th or 13th century. It is built in stone masonry with grisons at the corners, pediment, buttress, entablature and mixture of bricks at the windows. In 1896 a major restoration was undertaken during which modifications were made: a small door which opened to the south-east was walled up as well as a low door located in the apse tower and which allowed direct entry from the courtyard of the presbytery to the sacristy then placed behind the altar. A new sacristy was built and the altar was moved back. A grandstand was built and the porch was modified. Two new windows were drilled on the north side and the small window at the back of the apse was enlarged. Finally, the old paving was replaced.
