The Olympic Rings stone sculpture was crafted in commemoration of the London 2012 Summer Olympics, during which the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy served as the venue for the sailing events.

It marks an excellent viewpoint overlooking Chesil Beach, a long spit of shingle stretching from Portland Island to West Bay.

You’ll find a bench up here where you can sit and admire the sweeping views.
