The mighty, massive-looking stone cross made of sandstone can be classified in the Gothic era (14th - 15th centuries) with this shape of the beam extension. There are several vertical depressions on both sides of the head and arms as well as in the intersection area, which can be interpreted as trigger marks from medieval cutting and stabbing weapons. Sharpening and applying power on sacred rock was practiced during this time.
