The trail at Malanaphy Springs State Preserve is one of the lesser visited trails in the Decorah area, making it a great option if you are looking for a more secluded hiking experience. The trail is well-kept and is open all year long. The "waterfall" at the end is definitely stronger right after a big rain, and it can appear more like a regular spring than a full-on waterfall.
