Chiesa dei Santi Giacomo e Cristoforo in Bolgheri was built in the period 1505-1515 by the Della Gherardesca family and was also its owner. The church and the current castle were built from stones from the castle that previously existed here and was demolished in 1496. In 1902 a restoration took place by Count Alberto Guido. The coat of arms of the Della Gherardesca family can be found on the front.
