Ultimo giro d'estate. . .
Domani inizia ufficialmente l’autunno. Speriamo mantenga le temperature di questa giornata. Crediamoci. Solito giro sulle colline fino al passo Caldarola, dove scivolavano via nuvole basse spinte dal vento che accarezzavano la Parcellara e la trasformano in una cartolina animata. Monteriggioni is a real gem, but the whole Val d'Elsa, both the Florentine and Sienese side, is an open-air museum. I recommend, if you haven't already been, the Val di Merse, another little jewel on the Metallifere hills, the abbey of S.Galgano alone is worth the trip.
