While strolling through Röbel today, my lady and I stumbled upon Jörg Kemmereit's farm café with organic and world-wide shop at the Ziegenmarkt. He took advantage of the coronavirus lockdown to reflect on his talents as a former civil engineer and, shortly before retirement, created this gem in his home that we couldn't get enough of today. And I'm not even talking about the homemade gooseberry crumble cake made with wholemeal flour from Mühlenhof Altkalen. A dollop of cream on the side, heavenly. And a fine cup of tea, what more could you ask for?
