The Hermitage of the Virgen del Remolino is located in the valley of the Jarama River about 7 km SE of El Molar, the place where according to tradition she appeared. There the Molareños go every year for their patron saint on Easter Sunday and take her after the patron saint celebrations that coincide with Ascension Day, in the so-called El Molar Pilgrimage. The hermitage was blessed in 1957 by the auxiliary bishop of Madrid, Don Juan Ricote. It is neo-Gothic and Mudejar in style, it is made of brick and masonry boxes and is similar in appearance to that of San Isidro in La Corneja. The nave has a pointed roof, like the cover. Finish off with a cattail.
