The rectory and the church building are in an undeveloped location on Landesstraße 138, on the property at Vor dem Halleschen Tor 35/36. The buildings were built according to plans by the architect Johannes Reuter.[5]The church was a hall church with a cross bar designed as a church tower through which the church could be entered. Above the entrance portal there is a stone statue of St. Norbert, which remained in its place even after the change of use of the church building.
The Church of Saint Norbert was the Roman Catholic church in Jeßnitz, a district of the town of Raguhn-Jeßnitz in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district in the southeast of the state of Saxony-Anhalt. The church, named after Saint Norbert von Xanten, most recently belonged to the Edith Stein Wolfen parish based in Wolfen, in the Dessau deanery of the Magdeburg diocese. The building is listed as a monument in the monument register of the state of Saxony-Anhalt under registration number 094 96327.
The simple chancel was dominated by a hanging cross. The confessional was located under the organ gallery.
