According to preserved documents, the church in Czarne existed as early as 1395 and was a branch of the parish in Sokol. In 1550, the church was taken over by Protestants, and then returned to Catholics in 1596. In 1617, it became a parish church and the seat of the deanery. In 1686, the deanery was liquidated due to the small number of believers. The church in Czarne was destroyed and rebuilt many times. The first church was destroyed, then rebuilt in 1645-1646. Then it burned down in 1653 and rebuilt in 1673. After another fire, the church was rebuilt in 1720-1721. The last fire that destroyed the temple took place in 1755. The building preserved to this day was erected in 1756 (the tower's pennant shows the dates of construction of subsequent churches - 1673, 1710 and 1756). In the years 2010-2012 the church was thoroughly restored.
