Road Cycling Highlight
Flowing 48 miles (76km) through the heart of Devon, the River Torridge forms a loop as it meanders from Meddon to the Bristol Channel. The river is known for its bridges and aqueducts and thanks to the Henry William's book Tarka the Otter, who called the river his home. Today, the river is home to many species of wildlife and fish, such as salmon, sea trout and brown trout.
