Chudleigh Fort is a Civil War fortification built in 1642. The five-sided platform has 14 openings for cannons with stone-rubble retaining wall and parapet. It stands in a public park and is free to enter at any time. Whilst there is not a great deal to see, it is in a great location and is very close to the South West Coast Path.
