Here at the place where now a thatched-roofed pavilion invites the hikers to rest, was formerly the pitcher "Rugeranzel / Petersburg". Along the historic ox route (old ox driver's route, western part) were numerous pitchers, which afforded the oxen drivers a modest meal and a roof over their heads.
Today, a memorial stone and an information board reminds one of the long-vanished pitcher.
