The Alberhaus (Matthäus-Alber-Haus) is the "living room" of our community. People of all generations come together here to experience encouraging community and to meet one another personally to exchange ideas about life and faith. They celebrate joyful church services together and listen to encouraging devotions. The Alberhaus is also a shelter for the soul, a "spiritual" house.

Groups and committees from the parish and the church district, such as the parish council or the church district committee, meet here. Lectures, discussions and conversations take place here. The choir rehearses here. The children's Bible days are lively, colorful and sometimes a little loud here.

Our parish hall is named after Matthäus Alber (1495-1517), the first Protestant abbot and head of the Blaubeuren monastery school.

There are 5 rooms available for groups in the Matthäus-Alber-Haus:
•the large Alber Hall with space for around 100 people
    •the medium-sized Rau-Stube with space for around 20 people
•the small Blarer-Stüble with space for around 15 people
•the “Netz” room with space for around 15 people
•the “Arche” room with space for around 15 people

Blaubeuren has a beautiful old town with great half-timbered houses from times long past
