This ferry service is also popularly known as 'The flying goat' and connected the two Scheldt villages until the late 1960s. New jetties have now been installed in both Rupelmonde and Hingene (Groene Dijk) and there is a tourist operation.

When?
In April, May, June and September you can float to the other shore during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and on public holidays or bridge days.

The ferryman sails daily in July and August.

Between 7 am and 8 pm on weekdays and between 9 am and 8 pm on weekends and public holidays. There is a ferry on the hour and half hour (lunch break at 12.30).
