Nikos Kitsikis (Nafplio, August 14, 1887 - Athens, July 26, 1978) was a Greek Civil Engineer, Senator, Member, Professor and Rector of the National Technical University of Athens, wife of Beatas Kitsikis. He is considered the father of Greek statics. His son, Dimitris Kitsikis, is now Professor of International Relations at the University of Ottawa. Nikos is a brother of the architect Costas Kitsikis, member of the New Town Planning Committee of Thessaloniki after the great fire of 1917. She also had a sister, Marika (1890-1987), wife of Stamati Gialastra.Source: Wikipedia
