Tips
Here the Schwarze Au flows under the old railway embankment.
The creek bed was currently (February 2022) just dredged; now it meanders a bit before and after the railway embankment. Well accomplished.
The source of the Schwarzen Au is 38 m above sea level north of Schwarzenbek. It crosses the Sachsenwald in an east-west direction, flows through the Friedrichsruh district of Aumühle, where it is dammed to form the castle pond and flows into the Bille in Aumühle at an altitude of 11 m above sea level. The production site of the Fürst-Bismarck-Quelle is located directly opposite the confluence.
