On a challenging tour you start in the hamlet of Wirl and make your way over 255 meters in altitude and 11.5 kilometers past the Zeinisjoch to the idyllic Kops reservoir.

Depending on your stamina and form on the day, you can take this tour slowly and warm up and strengthen yourself in the numerous refreshment stops. Or complete the climb to the Kops reservoir as quickly as possible. The rapid descent after the strenuous climb will definitely reward you for your efforts. On your way you will pass through dense forests, past sparkling winter lakes, all framed in the wonderful mountain panorama that the Silvretta Group offers you. Shortly after the start of the descent you will find the “Weiberhimml” alpine hut east of the cross-country ski trail. One of the many traditional alpine huts where you can warm up in the room or enjoy a Jagertee on the sun terrace.

The starting point of your route is in the town of Wirl, which can be reached from the train station in Paznaun with bus 260. The entire journey via Landeck takes about an hour and 20 minutes.
