It is very popular to take the MS Guntsiel to Harriersand. The area on the other side of the Weser can be easily explored both on foot and by bike. There is also a restaurant there and of course a sandy beach. Ideal for a trip with family.

Incidentally, it is part of the 487 hectare “Right Side Arm of the Weser” nature reserve established in 1985, which extends from here to the Sandstedt sailing harbor north of Harriersand on the eastern bank.
