A short sandy track off the Gede-Watamu Rd is the museum and Ruins of a 11th century Arab and later Swahili settlement. 400 ksh for residents, 500 for non-residents (2023). You can bike inside from the main entrance to the museum, snake park, and the interior gate to the actual ruins where you can leave your bike with the watchman

This fascinating museum and ruins of a 11th century Arab and later Swahili settlement are just a short sandy track off the Gede-Watamu Rd.
Entrance is 400 ksh for residents, 500 for non-residents (2023). You can bike inside from the main entrance to the museum, snake park, and the interior gate to the actual ruins where you can leave your bike with the watchman, all worked well. A group of moneys is pretty used to play with visitors.
