Schirndinger House

Named after the von Schirndinger family, the only purely Gothic patrician house in Eger. Three-story, three-axis house on the approximately 8 m wide original property, the last representative of the gabled houses on the square. Built in the early 13th century, restored after a fire in the 15th century and renovated in the 17th century.

With its high stepped gable and narrow front, this house is a clear example of the medieval Gothic houses in Eger. The original form of the house on an 8 m wide and 52 m deep plot dates back to the time the market square was founded in the 13th century.
