Created on the initiative of the Riva del Garda rock climbing group (G.R.A.M.), the via ferrata dell'Amicizia climbs the steep walls of the Rocchetta overlooking Riva and ends at Cima Sat, one of the many peaks of the Garda mountain range. Inaugurated in 1972, it is one of the busiest in the Alps and can be walked on in all seasons of the year. It offers a wonderful panorama of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains. It is also called "Via del Centenario Sat".
