Land Art: The Centipede

Land Art: the jack-of-all-trades.
5 Land Art structures were placed on the cross-border hilly landscape. The guiding principle between the different structures is the simple shape, but especially the use of one common material: willow. A structure of dry branches as a base, with living plants gradually covering the whole. They are constructions that you can walk into, so that you get a different perception of the space and the light. They are very similar to the natural habitats that animals build. Four other Land Art Structures with rest, experience and/or picnic areas were realized in Wallonie-Picarde: De Witch in Ellezelles, De Schelp Op de Kluisberg, De Tunnel in Saint-Sauveur and De Duizendpoot in Flobecq.
