Hiking
In 1919 Neumünster approved the
Funds to be able to mine peat in the nearby Hasenmoor.
A 9km long route was created to connect the mining area with the train station in Großenaspe.
After the Second World War, the production of peat coke and briquettes was switched to until demand came to a complete standstill in 1965.
