The fossil tree is a large fossilised pine tree, standing vertically within the cliff at this remote point. The area also has a couple of spectacular cliff waterfalls and fascinating geological features.

The last section of this run from Burg uses a couple of ladders bolted to the cliffs and some beach scrambling. This section is tidal, so you'll need to time the run to suit the tide times and be careful not to get stranded, you can't escape, so You'd have to wait hours for the next low tide.
