The Tower Bridge of London was inaugurated in 1894. At that time, it was the most innovative and sophisticated bridge that existed at the time, since its underpass, through which the road runs, can be raised up to 80º degrees and allows the passage of ships and cruises. Previously the bridge opened about 50 times a day, while now it only opens 900 times a year. Its two towers measure 65 meters high and 12,000 tons of steel were used in their construction.

The original of this model is in the British capital London. Flanked by two massive towers, this two-story bridge over the Thames - the lower one can be opened for boat passage - is probably one of the most visited destinations for visitors to London.
