Be sure to stop at this Crafts Totem Pole, just outside the Johnnie Armstrong Gallery (a Celtic Goldsmiths shop). Atop of this striking statue is a knight based on one of the Lewis Chessmen discovered on the Isle of Lewis in the early 19th century. I am sure many people pop into the Gallery after seeing this one!
