The sun gives the entire hymn its name. The words of St. Francis are complemented by Isaiah's saying: "Your sun will never set again." For this purpose, the parish of St. John erected a stone pyramid with a glass sun. Today, a gilded granite sphere has been installed in its place, which, like the glass sun before it, faces the setting sun and reflects its light.
