The village is picturesquely located on a rock on which the Acropolis of Lindos stands. From around 10:00 a.m. Lindos is usually hopelessly overcrowded. It only gets a little quieter again after 4 p.m. You should take these times into account when visiting, it gets really beautiful at sunset, the golden light is magical.
